Editorial Policy

Who writes here

Merchant pages on GraphEffect are written and maintained by our editorial team. Every page has a named author and a last-reviewed date. If a page has no reviewer credited, it has not been reviewed, and we would rather show that than hide it.

How pages are built

Merchant pages combine three things: coupon records from our own checkout testing, factual detail about the merchant’s plans and policies, and our editorial read on where the real savings are. Where we use automated tools to draft or restructure descriptive sections, a human editor reviews the result before it publishes, and no automated tool is permitted to originate a coupon code, a discount amount, a policy claim or a contact detail.

What we will not publish

  • A discount figure we cannot trace to the merchant or to our own checkout test.
  • A refund, shipping or warranty claim that the merchant does not state publicly.
  • Contact details we have not confirmed on the merchant’s own site.
  • Comparison claims about competing brands that we cannot support.

Corrections

When we find an error, we fix it and update the review date. Material corrections to a merchant page are noted on the page. Email computechguide@gmail.com to flag anything wrong.

Merchant relationships

Merchants cannot pay for placement, for a better description, or for removal of a failed-code report. See our affiliate disclosure for how the site is funded.
